The unassuming exterior of Bank Court belies its fantastic interior. On entering you will find the cosy and chic lounge. Tastefully furnished and featuring an open fire, TV, DVD and iPod dock, this is a room perfect for relaxing in.
Crossing the hall, a couple of steps take you down into the dining room. Set for six, this handsome room makes for a grand place to dine with your friends and family. Moving into the kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with all you need to rustle up your favourite meals.
Heading up to the first floor you will find two double bedrooms. The master bedroom with king-size bed overlooks the village square and has an en-suite shower/dressing room with WC.
The second comfy bedroom also features a king-size bed. Also on the first floor is the bathroom with shower over the bath and a WC. Off the bathroom is a fabulous dressing room with dressing table, armchair and chaise longue.
A steep, narrow tread stairway leads up to the attic bedroom, with a king-size bed which sits under a pitched ceiling. Cosy and comfortable, there is a small en-suite WC tucked in under the eaves.
Finally from the attic bedroom you duck through to the chillax room. Criss-crossed with huge oak beams there’s plenty of fabulous furniture and TV, making this a great space for sitting back and relaxing.
Parking in the village square is on a first come first served basis. The easiest place to park is in the village car park, a short walk from the square. There will be 3 free pass in the property – please replace on your departure.

Cartmel is a popular and pretty village with traditional lime washed and stone built houses, shops and pubs. There’s plenty to discover in the immediate area, including a Norman priory, a beautiful river, and the popular Cartmel Races, home of the smallest steeplechase racecourse in the country.
Located on the peninsula, Cartmel nestles just six miles south of Lake Windermere. There are plenty of easy walks from the village: you could climb Hampsfell with its panoramic views across towards Morecambe Bay, then descend down to Grange Over Sands or explore the tracks running through Eggerslack Woods. Among the many other highlights of this stunning area are the Grizedale Forest, the vibrant town of Kendal and the wonderful Fell Foot Park.
