This romantic cottage is perfectly situated in the middle of Bouth village, is an idyllic retreat for couples who want to relax and enjoy this bespoke and lovingly restored property as well as those who are looking for adventure.

The front door of this cottage leads into a quirky and contemporary beautifully styled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.

The lounge area with comfy luxurious sofas, stone flooring and wood burner is the perfect spot to relax after a long day and watch the TV.

The cottage has original fireplace, beams, floor boards and lime plastered walls. The dining area has bench seating for four to enjoy a meal together, and the light kitchen offers everything guests will need to prepare their favourite meals, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.

On the first floor the spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room with beautifully tiled shower and WC, there is also an additional en-suite WC.

Outside the property is a private, raised patio with garden furniture, enclosed wildflower garden and shed for storing bikes. There is parking next to the property, with an electric car charging option, and space for two cars.

For visitors who want to enjoy the area’s unique landscape from a more leisurely perspective, there are many scenic walks to be enjoyed, as well as cruises on the lake, or perhaps a ride on a steam train and stopping for lunch at Ambleside or Bowness.

There are many properties in the area, such as Hill Top, former home to Beatrix Potter, and Dove Cottage where William Wordsworth once lived, or visit Bouth with vintage farm tea room serving its own homemade dairy ice cream.
