There is a small, yet attractive, patio garden to the rear of the property, which is accessed through the kitchen, for which garden furniture is provided.
At the opposite side of the patio to the house, the addition of a delightful summerhouse means that guests can enjoy the garden all year round.
There is roadside parking available opposite the cottage, and further parking available in the village, a permit for one vehicle is provided for the duration of your stay.
Beautiful cottage in lovely position overlooking green field with sheep - lovely and peaceful. Cartmel is an ideal place to stay with shops, pubs, restaurants and tea shops. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Loved our week in this charming cosy cottage. Situated overlooking a field full of sheep and Cartmel Priory, just a short walk into town center. Cartmel is lovely, The Cavendish Arms does great food. Would definitely stay again.

Cartmel is a popular and pretty village with traditional lime washed and stone built houses, shops and pubs. There’s plenty to discover in the immediate area, including a Norman priory, a beautiful river, and the popular Cartmel Races, home of the smallest steeplechase racecourse in the country.
Located on the peninsula, Cartmel nestles just six miles south of Lake Windermere.
There are plenty of easy walks from the village: you could climb Hampsfell with its panoramic views across towards Morecambe Bay, then descend down to Grange Over Sands or explore the tracks running through Eggerslack Woods. Among the many other highlights of this stunning area are the Grizedale Forest, the vibrant town of Kendal and the wonderful Fell Foot Park.
