Venture through the front door and you find yourself in the generous hallway. After a busy day exploring take a seat on the hall sofa, off with those walking boots and head up to the loft style lounge/kitchen/diner and relax.
Prepare a meal together in the well-equipped kitchen with twin ovens and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher to do the hard work. Chill the wine in the cooler and enjoy discussing the next day’s adventure over dinner.
Sink into the sofa and enjoy watching a favourite film or programme on the Smart TV with Sky Sports package. Head through to the luxurious bedroom with a super-king size bed and Smart TV and Sonos sound system to guarantee a good night’s sleep or watch a film before dozing off.
Just off the bedroom is a dressing room with plenty of hanging and storage space. Take a soak in the fabulous free-standing bath and enjoy some me time or an invigorating shower in the morning to start the day.
In the charming shared courtyard you will find the adjacent shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. You will also find a lovely quiet seating area to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the stars at night, blankets supplied to keep warm and cosy.

Cartmel is a popular and pretty village with traditional lime washed and stone built houses, shops and pubs. There’s plenty to discover in the immediate area, including a Norman priory, a beautiful river, and the popular Cartmel Races, home of the smallest steeplechase racecourse in the country.
Located on the peninsula, Cartmel nestles just six miles south of Lake Windermere. There are plenty of easy walks from the village: you could climb Hampsfell with its panoramic views across towards Morecambe Bay, then descend down to Grange Over Sands or explore the tracks running through Eggerslack Woods. Among the many other highlights of this stunning area are the Grizedale Forest, the vibrant town of Kendal and the wonderful Fell Foot Park.
